Since Ford released the Bronco in 2021, many adventure enthusiasts have been questioning which off-road vehicle is better? The Ford Bronco or the Jeep Wrangler? Considering we have both the Wrangler and Bronco in stock regularly, we’re going to compare the two because honestly.... they’re both pretty great. It’s about what might work for you as a consumer. Jeep lover? No question you want the Wrangler. Ford enthusiast? The Bronco is definitely for you.
The Jeep Wrangler comes with three possible 4×4 system options. The Command-Trac 4×4 system, Select-Trac Full-time 4×4 system, and the Rock-Trac 4×4 system. The Command-Trac 4×4 system has the front and rear axles split to assist tough traction. The Select-Trac Full-time system locks and uses continuous traction for all kinds of earth elements, including snow, ice, rocks, or mud. The Roc-Trac system uses a low gear to assist in crawling at a low speed.
The Ford Bronco has a 4×4 with part-time selectable system and an advanced 4×4 with automatic engagement. The part-time selectable engagement system has a two-speed transfer that offers the driver three modes to choose from. The Advance 4×4 system also features a two-speed transfer except this one is an electromechanical transfer that adds an automatic mode to choose from.
The Jeep Wrangler comes standard with a 5-inch infotainment screen and an available 8.4-inch infotainment screen. The Wrangler’s infotainment center comes equipped with Apple Carplay, Android Auto, 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot, and Uconnect 4C Navigation.
Also on the Wrangler is a 7-inch driver info digital display that provides the driver with vital information that you may need, right in front of you. This includes key vehicle stats, speed, and navigation. There also are available off-road pages with vital information while off-roading, such as suspension height, drive modes, and more!
The Ford Bronco comes standard with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen or an available 12-inch touch screen. The Bronco’s infotainment center comes equipped with available off-road navigation, Apple Carplay, and Android Auto. Also, Trail mapping is a pretty cool feature where you can plan and record your off-road excursions.
The Bronco, much like the Wrangler, also has the digital display that shows all the vital vehicle information right in front of you.
The Jeep Wrangler comes with Selec-Terrain Traction Management systems. This includes five driving modes: Auto, Sport, Snow, Sand and or Mud, as well as Rock.
The Bronco comes with a terrain management system that is paired with the iconic G.O.A.T modes to help you in any terrain that Mother nature throws your way. You can adjust your drive mode to sand, slippery, sport, eco, normal, mud, rock crawl, and sport, depending on your trim level.
Every outdoor enthusiast needs plenty of cargo space for their toys. In the Jeep Wrangler, you have a variety of cargo space that can be adaptable and that you can add. You can hide your gear, or even lock it in your car. There is Trail Rail System for the Wrangler that will help you store smaller cargo items, has a removable cargo floor to store extra essentials, and a locking glove box and center console for your valuables.
In comparison to the Wrangler, the Bronco has less cargo management features but still holds a good amount of cargo space. Unique to the Bronco is a slide out tailgate that allows you to sit on or organize your gear, have a meal, write something down, the options are endless. The Ford Bronco Sport comes with more cargo management features than the Bronco.
