The Jeep brand delivered, yet again, when Wrangler owners asked for an off-road 4X4 with the functionality of a truck. The 2023 Jeep Gladiator features a removable top and removable doors. This awesome mid-size pickup has incredible handling on and off the road with its road capabilities that rival those of the traditional Jeep.
The Jeep Gladiator has a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower with 260lb-ft of maximum torque. The Gladiator has a 7,700lb max towing capacity. If you are looking for better fuel economy, choose a model with a 3.0L V6 diesel engine. The diesel engine produces 260 horsepower with 442lb-ft of maximum torque combined, to give you a 6,500lb maximum towing capacity.
The limited-edition Freedom package is on the Gladiator Sport S trims. This package honors our US servicemen and women with a military-themed exterior, including a steel bumper and rock sliders.
The Capability package is available for the High-Altitude models as well. This includes a steel front bumper that is winch capable, as well as a front off-road camera, and steel rock sliders. The Willy’s Gladiator has received more standard features, such as remote start and keyless entry.
While the Jeep Gladiator rocks it on the trails, it also gets 16mpg in the city, and 23mpg on the highway. If you opt for the diesel model, your fuel economy bumps up to 22mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway. This truck has power, a great payload capacity, and fantastic fuel mileage for a great truck.
The cabin of the Gladiator features an upright dash, modeled after the Jeep Wrangler. This means that the push-button start is also waterproof, and you have many convenience features available. The optional heated steering wheel and heated front seats are excellent on cool mornings and when the doors and top are off.
The five-foot cargo box is filled with interior storage options for cargo management. The 115-volt power outlet in the rear of the cargo box is perfect for when you are camping. This outlet can also power your air compressor on a campout or a crockpot during a tailgating party, not to mention phone chargers as well. It's built on a five-foot steel box for durability, and the optional spray-in bed liner is perfect for protecting your truck from the elements.
