If you’ve been a loyal customer here over the years on our Schmit Bros Dodge side, you’ve more than likely ran into Chuck Wallish at some point. Chuck stands tall, usually sporting a Dodge hat with a cup of coffee in hand while chewing gum; he is friendly, welcoming, sociable, and sincerely cares about his sales with us and finding his customers what they’re looking for. He is an honest guy with a knack for sales and people. Everyone just can’t help but love Chuck.
He is a born and raised native of Ozaukee County and has been working at Schmit Bros since August of 1998. Always interested in cars, he took a giant leap of faith into the sales world and hasn’t looked back. We are ever so glad that he did.
We sat down with Chuck to ask him what his favorite vehicles to sell here are. Without a second thought he said “definitely the Ram. Probably the Big Horn or the Lariat”. Owning a 2014 Ram Big Horn himself, he said he just loves the room that they have. “You can fit 4 people in it with a pickup box in back of you with room to spare.” Hunter? Do you like to fish? Enjoy your weekends up in the Northwoods like so many of us in Wisconsin do? Chuck says the Ram is the perfect vehicle for all of that; with towing capacity for motorcycles, four wheelers, snowmobiles, and boats, Ram has got you covered. Along with plenty of seating, space, and constantly new and updated technological advances, the Ram has something for everyone.
Chuck told us his favorite car of all time are the old Ram Power Wagons from the 1940’s. “They look tough; they’re like old army trucks that had a lot of power”, Chuck stated. “Not only that, but they sit up pretty high off the ground and have a heavy-duty suspension for off roading. I would love to own one someday.”
Then known as the “flat fenders”, Dodge Power Wagons were the first mass-produced four-wheel drive trucks and were eventually replaced in 1981 with what was known as the Dodge Ram.
When Chuck isn’t here with us selling cars, he really likes to hunt and fish, watch the Green Bay Packers take the top of the NFC North division while sporting his cheese head, and spending time with his wife, his daughter, and his grandkids.
If you’re in the market for a Ram truck, Chuck would love to help you find whatever it is you’re looking for. With over 700 cars in our dealer market, if you want it, Chuck can locate it! Come on in on our Dodge side and say hi to Chuck and don’t be afraid to wear some green and gold while you’re at it.
